BACKGROUND
Sustainable Mobility Transformation
In 2021, an extraordinary project as the master's program has been funded by the EKSH (Society for Energy and. Climate Protection Schlesweg-Holstein GmbH). Following the guiding principle "Working creatively on the challenges of healthy livelihoods", it will tackle perspectives of "sustainable mobility transformation". In our project, we have focused on hydrogen energy autonomous minibus that connect the citiy and surrounding areas.

CONCEPT
Mobility Hub
This Project describes the bus of the future, 120 seconds waiting time, no emissions and the best air quality. Located at Kiel’s Holstenbrücke, the project has created a pedestrian-friendly place to spend time, enabling connections by any means of transport thanks to the conceptual Mobility Hub. There is no sidewalk, since vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians share the public space. Urbanity revitalised by people, which counters aggressive flows of motor vehicles. Passengers literally get in the way of buses as they board.

The Public Autonomous Bus
The public autonomous bus, which connects the city and surrounding areas, is designed to be strractive in many ways. Comfort and quality are infused throughout the design as well as the materials. Surfaces have become organic and digital, the ride relaxing and uncomplicatd. The bus purposefully emphasises new qualities in public transportation and offers a viable alternative.
连接城市和周边地区的公共自主巴士,在很多方面都设计得很有吸引力。设计以及材料的细节充分考虑到了用户的舒适度和产品的高质量。座椅表面已经变得有机和数字化,乘坐起来舒适又轻松。此公交车有目的地强调了公共交通的新品质,并为流动性人群提供了一个高质量的出行选择。

INTERFACE DESIGN
Air Quality
With the global corona pandemic we pay more attention on the air quality of the public space. Visualising air quality to improve residents' confidence of the public space and the living environment. The clean air created by the no emissions of hydrogen energy and the greenery of the interior design is presented through a mobile app and smart surface in the bus.
随着全球新冠疫情的发展,我们更加关注公共空间的空气质量。因此该项目将空气质量可视化,提高乘客对公共空间和生活环境的信心。氢能源的无排放和室内的绿化所创造的清洁空气,通过移动应用程序和公交车上的智能面板来呈现。

USER EXPERIENCE DESIGN
User Experience Map
User: Kiel is the capital of the state of Shire and takes on more than its fair share of government duties, social events, and job opportunities. As a result, there are many people travelling to and from Kiel and the surrounding area every day.
Pain point: the need to change multiple times or use multiple modes of transport to get from your point of departure to your destination. Not a long journey but a lot of time wasted waiting for and changing trains.
Opportunity: Save waiting time by calling and booking a mini bus in time. Transport hubs linking different modes of transport, saving time on transfers.
用户:基尔是石荷州的州府,承担着更多的政府职责,社交活动和工作机会。因此,每天往返于基尔及周边地区的人是很多的。
痛点:从出发地到目的地需要换乘多次,或使用多种交通工具。不长的路程却浪费了很多时间在等车和换乘上。
机会:及时呼叫和预定mini bus,节约等待时间。交通枢纽将不同交通工具链接起来,节约换乘时间。
用户体验地图:通过app预约 -> 汇总附近用户的需求,实时生成合理路线 -> 在车厢内享受最好的空气质量,且可以通过数字化面板进行交互-> 下车后可换乘不同的交通工具到达目的地。(如下图所示)
