We conducted structured one-on-one interviews to collect in-depth information on people's opinions, experiences, and feelings about public transport and autonomus bus, which effectively helped us to emphasize withh different users.

我们进行了结构化的一对一访谈,深入收集人们对公共交通和自动驾驶巴士的意见、经验和感受,这有效地帮助我们强调了不同的用户。

Research Goals

1.What is the purpose of taking public transportation? To work,to school or ...?

2.Time and distance by public transport? What are the struggles?

3.Have people ever ridden an autonomous transportation? What are the wishes?

1.乘坐公共交通工具的目的是什么?上班、上学还是......?

2.乘坐公共交通工具的时间和距离?有哪些困难?

3.人们是否乘坐过自主交通工具?有什么愿望?

Summarize and analyze the access data to make an empathy map, and try to figure out the behavioral mood of different user groups.

总结和分析访问数据,制作同理心地图,并尝试弄清不同用户群体的行为情绪。

Insights

The amount of time and distance people travel on public transport varies widely. Therefore, we need to identify specific target groups. In this process, the people who encountered the most difficulties were those who lived in the surrounding area and came to work in the city. They need to change too much transportation and consume a lot of time.

人们乘坐公共交通的时间和距离差别很大。因此,我们需要确定具体的目标群体。在这个过程中,遇到困难最多的是那些住在周边地区,来城市工作的人。他们需要更换过多的交通工具,消耗大量的时间。

3.User Story Maps

By walking through the whole journey with our users,we can see their true needs more clearly.

通过与我们的用户一起走过整个旅程,我们可以更清楚地看到他们的真正需求。

Needs

1.Too many transfers.Too much time in the transportation.
2.The timetable for transportation is fixed, and you have to wait a long time if you miss it.

3.Public transportation lacks private space and is unsafe. After the epidemic, we will pay more attention to public health.

Define

1.Concept

During the definition phase, we went throught problem statement, hypothesis statement and value proposition in order to better summarize users' pains and needs,also to propose potential solutions.

在定义阶段,我们经历了问题陈述、假设陈述和价值主张,以便更好地总结用户的痛苦和需求,同时提出潜在的解决方案。

Value Proposition

1.an introduction to city culture and history / comparison of various modes of transportation and recommended routes / check ahead to see if there are other transportation available at the site

2.Ideate

We initiated the ideation phase with a competitive audit. From looking into current solutions offered by opponents and their strengths and flaws,we gain clearer iedeas of how app for autonomous bus can evolve and how our product will fit in our users' lives.

Finally define the main function of the app, and draw the storyboard and create user flow according to the main function.

Main Functions

1.Booking for a bus:Determine the time, destination, and number of people to book bus.Then create a itinerary based on passengers' booking information to suit each passenger's needs.

2.Intermodal Mobility:Scan QR codes to unlock bicycles and other transport transfers, pay all at last.

3.Air Quality Monitoring: Display air quality inside the cabin and on your phone. Including information such as whether it has been disinfected.

1.订车:确定订车时间、目的地、人数,然后根据乘客的订车信息制定行程,满足每个乘客的需求。

2.换乘:扫描二维码解锁自行车和其他交通工具,最后全部支付。

3.空气质量监测。显示机舱内和手机上的空气质量。包括是否经过消毒等信息。

User Flow

Through user story maps and storyboards, we've predicted and explored users' journeys with the . Now we string them all together and create thhis user flow to make sure all the key needs from users are covered and the transitions between functions are smooth.
